A creative place to learn from the land and collaborate with islanders

Artists based at the former Awashima Junior High School and staying on the island. They have been creating works based on the local culture and environment at the "Awashima Artists' Village.In 2022, two artists, Yu Sato and Nana Mori, will participate in the program. They have developed participatory production activities in various locations that involve a diverse range of people, including local residents and audiences. These artists will work on a production on Awashima.
