Inspired by the remains of stone quarries characteristic of the Bisan Seto region, the stone-cutting techniques fostered in the region, and the industries and lifestyle culture derived from them, several works will be created using digital technology and traditional stone carving techniques and installed in an old house in the Kasashima Townscape Preservation District.
(Kasashima is designated a Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings.)
