Benesse House Museum Valley Gallery

A space inspired by time resonates with the landscape

Built in a valley that has been considered a sacred space since ancient times, the gallery creates an introspective solitude while
at the same time introducing external light and the movment of wind and nature.Exhibited within its grounds are Yayoi Kusama's Narcissus Garden and Tsuyoshi Ozawa's Slag Buddha 88, inspiring a prayer to nature and a renewed awareness in the heart of the visitor.
